Why We Built This Site

We started researching HGH releaser supplements the same way most people do – by reading a lot of other review sites. What we found was frustrating: page after page of enthusiastic claims, near-identical ingredient lists copied from manufacturer marketing, and almost no acknowledgment that the doses in a bottle are often a fraction of what’s actually used in the studies being cited to sell it.

True HGH exists because we thought that gap was worth filling. Not with a site that’s negative or dismissive of this category – we think there’s real, legitimate research behind many of these ingredients, and real reasons someone might reasonably choose to try one of these products – but with a site that shows its work, tells you the parts of the story that don’t make for great marketing copy, and treats you as someone capable of making your own informed decision once you have the full picture.

What We Actually Do

Concretely, that means:

• We link our sources. Where we cite a study, you’ll find a link to it, so you can read it yourself rather than take our word for it.
• We compare label doses to research doses. An ingredient having “research behind it” and a product containing a clinically relevant amount of that ingredient are two different questions, and we treat them as two different questions – see our ingredient dose comparison for an example of what that looks like in practice.
• We cover the ingredients other sites skip. Glandular extracts, sourcing questions, sports-doping considerations – the parts of a formula that are harder to write about, and so usually don’t get written about at all.
• We say when the evidence doesn’t support a product-specific benefit. For example, our piece on HGH releasers and menopause is upfront that there’s no research on these supplements specifically in that population, and puts a more effective, evidence-backed option (HRT) ahead of the supplement we have a financial relationship with.

How We Make Money

This site earns commissions through affiliate links, including links to GenF20 Plus and its manufacturer, Leading Edge Health. Full details are in our affiliate disclosure. We’ve tried to build a site where that relationship is visible and doesn’t quietly shape the content – you can judge for yourself whether we’ve succeeded by reading pages like our dose comparison or side effects breakdown, which don’t shy away from unflattering details about a product we have a financial interest in.
